I have just visited 13 of the 14 Building 19 stores in the last three days to judge the progress our store people have made on grouping the book department into fiction and non fiction categories. Just couldn't squeeze in the Lynn store on Tuesday - next week, Ron and Carolina, I promise!
This was a daunting task (those of you who shop our stores know what I mean!)!
I am so proud of the staff who really took on the challenge and created an inviting, easy to browse department. Some stores are so well organized it looks like a real book store. Some stores even have a Spanish book section!
Let me know what you think after your next trip into your favorite Building 19 store. Give them a pat on the back if you like what you find!

Jean, the Nashua store is always fun to shop and my favorite as far as the book section is concerned. Found a couple of interesting titles there just last week. One I had been specifically looking for and entitled "Catholic Matters" by Fr. Richard Neuhaus. For $2.98 as opposed to the retail price of $25.00!
Building 19 does it again. Any luck with the CBD people (Christian Book Distributors)?
If you ever find the title "Salvation is from the Jews," would love to see that offered.
P.S. If any of your readers caught the Chronicle episode entitled "A Town Divided" (http://www.thebostonchannel
.com/chronicle/14376818/detail.html) and would like a copy of this program which takes a look at the Saint Benedict Center in Richmond, New Hampshire, they should contact me and I will put them in touch with someone who can provide them with a copy.
Together, we can all overcome anti-Semitism and promote mutual understanding.
Paul.
I posted this comment elsewhere --- under the facebook section, then noticed this blog on revamping your books section. I'm hoping to find a few books and workbooks to prepare my kids for the "going back to school routine"! Hopefully you'll have some in now!
